About Me:
Hello there, fellow book-lover!
Your probably here to find out one thing... if you're going to like my book. I get it! Buying a new book from someone you've never heard of before is a big risk! You could waste your time and money.
So, without further ado, let me tell you a little about myself and my writing style.I am a Christian author from Australia, who was brought up and homeschooled in a wonderful family, which to this day is filled with the arts (including creative writing 😉)
Narnia was one of my go-to reading material when I was a kid... and even now! I always thought the best part was the fantastical creatures. I love the majestic centaurs, the funny animals, and the Marshwiggles! (The last named are my favourite!)
I also love stories about adventure and discovery.I have to admit, many of the books I have read and loved through the years were written a long time ago. Henty, Ballentine, and Jane Austen are on that list. I also loved the Billabong Books, written by Mary Grant Bruce. Norah and Wally are my favourite characters from this series.However, in the last few years I have been branching into newer works.I adore the story and world in the 100 Cupboards trilogy and N.D. Wilson. His prose are so smooth they just gently tow you through the stream of the story.
Also, I have read and enjoyed The Soul Mark Duology and The Heart of the King (first book in the Painted Wind Series) by J.J Fischer, a fellow Australian Christian Author.There are many other new books which I have my eye on, including The Scarlet Star by Jennifer Kropf, Thy Kingdom Come by Ariana Tosedo, and The Heir of Light by Niki Florica.I have also started exploring the other fiction works of C.S Lewis. Earlier this year I bought and read his Space Trilogy, which was excellent, and I am hoping soon to read Till we Have Faces.So, what do you think?
